The problem
Keeping QuickBooks Desktop current across dozens of endpoints meant remoting into each machine and clicking through the updater, usually after hours.
What we built
A signed Windows executable that applies major and minor QuickBooks Desktop updates silently, with reboot control and a log on every run.
How it works
Entity mappings are configured per business, records are validated before write, and failures surface in a review queue rather than a log file.
Key decisions
Built as a product because the same integration problem kept appearing across client engagements.
Results
Roughly an hour back per run, identical behaviour on every endpoint, and no surprise reboots during the workday.
